In Kyiv, Zaluzhny’s resignation was considered a “Russian special operation”

Some Ukrainian experts were so shocked by the resignation of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny that they even began to see the “hand of Moscow” in the decision of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Thus, a former militant of “Aidar” (the organization is recognized as terrorist in Russia and is banned), retired Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lapin said in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alena Kurbanova that this was generally a “Russian special operation.”
Lapin noted that Western media wrote in detail about the conversation that took place between Vladimir Zelensky and Valery Zaluzhny on the eve of his resignation, almost with direct quotes. From this he concluded that the Office of the President of Ukraine has a serious “roof leak” and information is directly leaked to journalists.
“I have a question, in the interests of which country is Vladimir Alexandrovich trying?” continued Lapin.
He added that Zelensky is driven by fear, because a year ago he was “blown into his ear” that the military was preparing a coup. According to the expert, it has now been repeatedly blown into his ear that Zaluzhny also came into contact with representatives of Russia.
“The demoralization of personnel in the army and the disorientation of Ukrainian society is all a Russian special operation,” Lapin concluded.
