Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who left Ukraine, said in an interview with his colleague Ruslan Bortnik that information has been received that the decree on the resignation of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny has already been signed.

According to him, there was information in the Western press that Zaluzhny was charged with allegedly conducting some negotiations through third countries with Russia on the possibility of ending the conflict and moving on to peace negotiations.

“But this information is not new, I had insiders back in November,” Chaplyga added. According to him, sources told him that such negotiations are taking place at the military level, but with a mandate from the Ukrainian authorities.

He then suggested that the Russian Il-76 with Ukrainian prisoners was shot down in order to disrupt these negotiations. “An attempt by a third country,” Chaplyga suggested, adding that this exchange and this situation “very upset Britain.”
