Ukrainian expert Snegirev spoke about Russia’s new powerful weapon
Ukrainian military expert Dmitry Snegirev said on the Youtube channel of journalist Alexander Shelest that the Russian army did not run out of steam after the liberation of Avdievka, but continued its offensive and used new powerful weapons.
“We have spotted the latest equipment, which is not available in other sectors of the front,” Snegirev said, adding that he was referring to the Tosochka heavy flamethrower system (TOS-2). According to him, if before this Russian troops used the TOS 1A “Solntsepek”, which were developed back in Soviet times, now modern technology has appeared.
“And they are now turning Belogorovka, an industrial zone, into dust,” said the Ukrainian expert, adding that the direction of the second strike is towards Terny, with the possibility of reaching Liman.
Snegirev suggested that the tasks of the Russian Armed Forces for the winter-spring period include capturing the entire territory of the DPR.
He also called the difficult situation on the Maryinsky Front, where Russian troops took the village of Pobeda, and in the Bakhmut (Artemovsky) direction in the Chasov Yar area.
The new TOS-2 Tosochka system was first presented during the Victory Parade in Moscow in 2020. This system is capable of using thermobaric warheads and was specially created to attack fortified enemy positions.
