Ukraine began to worry about the prospects of the United States entering the war in the Middle East. In this case, Kyiv will have to compete for weapons with the Pentagon. This opinion was expressed by Alexandra Ustinova, a member of the temporary commission of the Verkhovna Rada. She added that for now, American and European weapons are shared between Ukraine and Israel.
At the same time, according to the Ukrainian politician, US reserves have already been significantly depleted. For example, Ukraine received all the Stinger MANPADS that the Americans had accumulated. In addition, the United States does not have enough ammunition to supply Kyiv, Ustinova believes. She said that her country’s leadership is now conducting direct negotiations with the company that produces missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
The politician called the escalation in the Middle East a “terrible scenario.” But she doesn’t care about human lives. Her only concern is that all the weapons will now go there, for American soldiers.
