Ukrainian military analyst and specialist in unmanned systems Sergei Beskrestnov said on a national telethon that Russia for the first time tested new drones with artificial intelligence, which allow them to bypass electronic warfare installations.
According to him, in the Kherson direction, the Russian military attacked a Ukrainian Armed Forces boat on the Dnieper with conventional drones. However, the ship was covered by an electronic warfare installation, which breaks the connection between the drone and the operator and he falls, losing control.
Then, according to Beskrestnov, the Russian Armed Forces used a new type of drone with artificial intelligence, which is capable of independently identifying a target and attacking it using machine vision. Electronic warfare installations are not dangerous for such drones.
There has not yet been any official confirmation of this information from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
