The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine published in Telegram messagewhich talks about the renaming of four streets in Kherson, controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that the streets received new names in honor of the fallen police officers.
Thus, the street of the Russian writer Leo Tolstoy is now named Roman Nabegov. The street of the Russian poet Alexei Koltsov was renamed after Ruslan Storcheus, Smolensky Lane (in honor of the Russian city of Smolensk) was renamed to Vlad Kovalev Lane. And Molodogvardeyskaya Street became Andrei Tarchinsky Street.
