A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan denied the ban on Kandelaki’s entry and invited her to stay
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov, invited Russian TV presenter Tina Kandelaki to come to the country after her words about the Russian language.
Earlier, Kandelaki said in her Telegram channel that the Russian language was allegedly being removed at the state level in Kazakhstan. She cited as an example the renaming of railway stations in the country: from “Uralsk” to “Oral” and from “Uzen” to “Zhanaozen”.
Smadiyarov decided to invite the TV presenter to Kazakhstan, arguing that the neighboring country knows little about the republic.
“Let them come to our country and see how we live,” said a representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry and added that this is better than inventing some topics on social networks.
Smadiyarov also noted that Kandelaki has not yet been included in the list of citizens of foreign countries, which restricts entry into Kazakhstan.
Earlier, Aibek Smadiyarov said that the country would not forgive Kandelaki for her words. If she plans to come to Kazakhstan, they will not let her in.
