Thousands of protesters against judicial reform broke through the police cordon leading to the microdistrict where the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is located in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Post reports.
Earlier, protest organizers announced a “week of paralysis” throughout Israel.
Recall that the protesters do not agree that the package of laws proposed by the Netanyahu government within the framework of the judiciary provides for a serious limitation of the powers of the Supreme Court and allows the cabinet to control the appointment of judges.
