German Army Colonel: F-16 fighters will not be able to give an advantage to Ukraine
Retired Bundeswehr Colonel Wolfgang Richter expressed doubt that F-16 fighters would be able to give Ukraine an advantage. A military expert stated this in an interview with Welt.
According to the German officer, if the West decides to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) with F-16s, Russia will destroy them.
The F-16 will not become a “superweapon” that will change the “rules of the game” on the battlefield, a Bundeswehr colonel said.
These fighters are ineffective against cruise or ballistic missiles – those that hit targets from deep rear areas located in Russia, Richter explained.
Earlier in Kyiv they stated that Ukraine has already lost the information war to Russia.
