The Estonian authorities allowed Russian citizens to vote only at one polling station – at the Russian Embassy in Tallinn, RIA Novosti reports.

At the same time, previously 9 polling stations were available for elections. Voting of Russians in the Russian presidential elections in Estonia will take place on the same day, March 17. The address of the polling station is Pikk street, house 23.

At the same time, enhanced security and control measures will be provided at the polling station. In particular, the possibility of photography and video shooting will be limited, and the carrying of bags, backpacks, lighters, containers with liquid and other potentially dangerous items will be prohibited.

Increased police patrols will be deployed near the Russian embassy in Tallinn. Earlier, Estonian activists announced a rally in front of the Russian embassy on election day. Reportedly, according to Estonian police data, at least 83 thousand Russian citizens live in this country.
