According to the forecast of the department of Maxim Reshetnikov, in 2023-2026 the leaders in salary growth will be the following constituent entities of the Russian Federation: Kemerovo region (+11.1%), Chelyabinsk region (+10.8%), Dagestan (+10.6%), Transbaikal region (+10.2%), Mordovia and Voronezh region (+10.1% each, respectively), Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions (+10% each, respectively). In all these regions, it is expected that wages will grow by more than 10%.
On September 22, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting of the federal government statedthat the wages of more than 4.5 million people will increase due to an increase in the minimum wage (minimum wage) by 18.5%, to 19.2 thousand rubles. from January 1, 2024.
On September 12, the macro forecast for the country’s economic development prepared by the Ministry of Economy was officially approved by the budget commission. According to the document, among the main parameters of the basic scenario for the development of the Russian economy in the coming years is GDP growth in 2023 by 2.8%, and in 2024–2026 by 2.2–2.3%, an increase in investment by 6% based on the results of the current year and by 2.3–3% in the future – it is assumed that they will be predominantly private and only “supplemented” by budgetary capital investments. The authors believe that inflation, after 7.5% this year, will drop to 4.5% in 2024, and then to 4%, but the ruble over the forecast horizon will not strengthen to its previous values - its exchange rate will remain below 90 rubles/$ .
