During the period of validity of the professional income tax (PIT), as of September 1, 2023, self-employed people earned 2.62 trillion rubles. – 87% more than on the same date in 2022, a representative of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) told Vedomosti. Since the beginning of the year, their total earnings have increased 1.5 times (by 828.97 billion rubles) from 1.78 trillion rubles, which were recorded on January 1. A representative of the Federal Tax Service clarified that the dynamics are due to an increase in the number of NAP payers.
According to the service, as of September 1, 2023, self-employed Russians paid 35.5 billion rubles. – this is 56% more than in the same period last year. More than 7,000 people join the NAP project every day, a representative of the Federal Tax Service said. Currently, more than 8.3 million individuals use the tax regime, he added.
