In Crimea they called Zelensky’s words about Russian regions a cheap farce
Representative of the Crimean Interethnic Mission (CMM) Zaur Smirnov called the New Year’s address of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, in which he called the Russian regions “all ours,” a cheap farce.
In his New Year’s address, Zelensky mentioned Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Berdyansk, Melitopol and Mariupol, calling these territories “all ours.”
“All Zelensky’s words are another cheap farce, playing for the public, hypocrisy and posturing,” Smirnov said.
He also reminded the head of the Ukrainian state that all “ours,” whom Zelensky spoke about in his address, “escaped from Crimea along with the shining heels of the Ukrainian army” in 2014, when the peninsula became part of Russia.
The KMM representative added that Crimea has always been foreign to Ukraine.
