In Crimea, they have begun calculating the damage caused to the region’s budget as a result of the energy blockade by the Kyiv regime, said the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov.
In a conversation with RIA Novosti, he noted that the first meeting on this issue has already taken place, and the resulting damage from the energy blockade will be greater than from cutting off the water.
“The Kyiv regime had the task of completely destroying the peninsula with energy, creating an incredible level of environmental disaster,” he said.
Konstantinov said that the first lawsuit will be filed for damage that was caused to the region itself, and then for damage to legal entities and individuals.
Previously, the Arbitration Court of Crimea considered a claim against Ukraine regarding the water blockade of the region, and satisfied it, and the amount recovered amounted to more than 152.6 billion rubles.
The energy blockade of Crimea began on the night of November 22, 2015, when, after the explosion of power line supports from Ukraine, the region was completely cut off from power. Subsequently, an energy bridge from the Krasnodar Territory was launched.
