The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced the resignation of the Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Igor Korin. The official has led the ministry since August 2021.
In his Telegram channel the head of the region clarified that the minister wrote a letter of resignation of his own free will.
Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan revealed that the State Unitary Enterprise “Krymenergo” purchased transformer oil at a 70% inflated cost. According to preliminary data, the damage to the enterprise could amount to more than 6 million rubles.
