Supporters of the Moldovan party “Shor” made a new attempt to get to the central square of the city to hold a protest rally. Their way was blocked by a police cordon.
Reportedly, some protesters began to throw flowers at the police, while others approached the cordon and gave them.
The Shor party announced an indefinite protest action on September 18, subsequently joined by the Communist Party. Participants of the action oppose the rise in prices, including for food and energy resources.
