The wreckage of a drone shot down over Bryansk damaged the glazing of the railway station and the station square. About it informed Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz in his Telegram channel.
“An unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down over Bryansk. There were no casualties. As a result of falling aircraft debris, the glazing of the Bryansk I railway station building, the station square and several cars were partially damaged,” he wrote, adding that operational and emergency services were working on the spot.
In the press service Russian Railways told “RIA Novosti” that a fragment of a drone damaged the stained glass glazing in the waiting room of the Bryansk-Orlovsky station. Passengers were promptly evacuated from the station building. IN Russian Railways added that the incident did not affect train services.
The press service of the Moscow Railway reported TASS that after the fall of the drone fragment, the Bryansk-Orlovsky station was partially opened for passengers. At the same time, during the period of investigation, the waiting room will not be available to passengers, they clarified.
During the day, the Bryansk region was attacked three times by drones. In addition to the incident in Bryansk, Bogomaz reported the destruction of a drone over the Bryansk region. Another drone was shot down on approach to Bryansk. In both cases there were no casualties or destruction.
Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the Bryansk region. The region also has a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat in place indefinitely.
