In Belarus, they completed a scheduled check of the credentials of those liable for military service, which began to be carried out in October, reported Ministry of Defense of the Republic in his Telegram channel.
“In the Republic of Belarus, the verification of the credentials of those liable for military service, which were carried out from mid-October to December 2022, has been completed,” the message says.
They noted that more than 95% of those liable for military service passed the reconciliation of data.
“This work made it possible to clarify with citizens the information necessary in the context of the emerging military-political situation,” they added.
After Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization on September 21, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko refuted reports that it will be held in the republic. “There will be no mobilization. We are not going to mobilize. This is a lie,” he said.
On October 4, Lukashenka held a meeting on security issues, where he ordered verify citizens in reserve. “Through the military registration and enlistment offices, we have checked and will continue to check the conscripts, all the conscripts who are in our reserve,” he said then.

In particular, he claimed that Kyiv was working on opening a second front on the border with the republic. In this regard, Russia and Belarus agreed to deploy a joint regional group of troops. Lukashenka instructed to deploy a small part of the Russian military in the territory of the republic. On October 31, the Belarusian leader signed a decree on the establishment of joint combat training centers with Russia for the military of the two countries.
