“In the period from August 25 to September 1, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered five group strikes with long-range high-precision air and sea-based weapons at enemy command posts, radio and electronic intelligence centers, its port infrastructure facilities, ammunition storage sites and Western weapons, as well as airfields,” the statement said.

As a result of the strikes, air defense systems, armored vehicles, factories where unmanned boats were assembled, etc. were destroyed. In addition, the control of the strategic radio interference system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was disrupted.

The most difficult situation was observed in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions, the Defense Ministry added. According to the agency, over the past week, the Russian Armed Forces repelled 44 enemy attacks in the Zaporozhye direction, and 36 in the Donetsk direction. In addition, 14 attacks were repelled in the Krasnolimansky direction.

According to the Ministry of Defense, four unmanned boats, the same number of combat aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as one helicopter were destroyed over the past week. In addition, on the night of August 29-30, the forces of the Black Sea Fleet prevented the landing of a detachment of Ukrainian troops on the coast of Crimea. According to the department, they planned to commit terrorist acts on the peninsula.
