IDF announces elimination of Hamas internal relations supervisor

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the successful assassination of senior Hamas Politburo member Abu Maamar. According to the military, Abu Maamar was involved in the organization’s internal relations and coordination of terrorist actions.
“Another liquidation. The Israel Defense Forces managed to neutralize a high-ranking member of the Politburo of the terrorist group Hamas, who headed the internal relations department,” the IDF press service said in a statement.
They added that Maamar participated in strategic decisions and planning of numerous terrorist attacks in Israel.
Abu Maamar was also known to be a close associate of Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar.
