Grossi also said that in a few hours of inspection of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, he managed to collect enough important information and identify “key things”.

The IAEA mission arrived at the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP today from the Ukrainian-controlled city of Zaporozhye. A cortege of nine cars drove into the station at about 14:15 Moscow time. Prior to this, the Ukrainian side continued shelling Energodar, where the nuclear power plant is located. The strikes on the territory ceased when the IAEA mission passed through the checkpoint.

Also, Grossi did not rule out the opportunity to communicate with the residents of Energodar, which is located in the Russian-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region. Grossi noted that the mission of the IAEA trip was to prevent a nuclear accident. Among the experts who went to the station, there are no inspectors from Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
