Hungary does not expect an early end to the conflict in Ukraine due to US involvement

The conflict in Ukraine will not end soon, including due to the involvement of the United States, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said in an interview with Anadolu.

“Military assistance to Ukraine, the absence of any movement on both sides to end the conflict, the training of Ukrainian soldiers in European countries, and the “deep presence” of the United States in the war show that the war will not end anytime soon,” he said (quote according to RIA Novosti).

The achievement of peace depends, the minister stressed, on an agreement between Russia and the United States.

Earlier today, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko declared about the existence of prerequisites for an early end to the conflict. The Republic, he added, would join it only if “aggression was committed” against it.
