The head of the ruling faction in the Hungarian parliament, Mate Kocsis, said that the citizens of Finland are expressing fears about joining NATO.
According to the politician, the reason for this is the fear that Washington will put pressure on Helsinki after it joins the Alliance. It is about them that he reads in the letters he receives from Finland.
“Many politicians and citizens … fear that after the accession, Finland will not remain a neutral, peaceful country, since a section of the border with Russia, about 1,300 kilometers long, could become a hotbed of armed conflicts,” Kocis said on social networks.
