Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjártó praised the Christmas truce announced by Russia
[ad_1]
The truce announced by Russia in honor of the Nativity of Christ on January 6 and 7 should be assessed positively. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto.
The head of Hungarian diplomacy noted that Budapest welcomes any undertakings in the field of a ceasefire. He expressed the hope that in the near future such sentiments would prevail, and not incitement to conflict.
Also, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry again offered assistance for peace in Ukraine. It should be noted that the Ukrainian side did not accept Russia’s proposal for a truce, which once again showed its commitment to the escalation of the conflict.
