The Hungarian government has released a video with a map where Crimea is not part of Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
The video was posted on the social network Facebook* (banned in the Russian Federation as extremist). In the video, the Hungarian authorities call for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
The report says that despite the suffering of the population, the conflict continues and may result in a world war. The text of the post notes that the only way out will be a ceasefire and peace negotiations.
“It’s time for peace,” reads the text of the message.
On one of the frames, as an illustration, a map is shown, where Crimea is depicted outside the territory of Ukraine. The flags of Russia, Ukraine and the United States are also depicted, at the same time a call is made to organize the negotiation process.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that a settlement in Ukraine is possible only through Moscow and Washington. He also said that the Ukrainian counter-offensive “cannot be allowed”, as it will end with huge casualties, primarily for Ukraine.
