Relatives of hostages kidnapped into the Gaza Strip on October 7 by militants of the Palestinian group Hamas are walking from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, writes Reuters. They are expected to picket outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence on Saturday afternoon.
The day before, protesters left Tel Aviv on foot. It is known that the distance to Jerusalem is about 70 kilometers. By doing so, they want to increase pressure on the Israeli government regarding the return of the hostages.
According to MOSSAD, Hamas holds about 240 Israelis captive, including infants, children and the elderly.
