Hublot and the Cheval Blanc hotel chain – everything in the house

The Cheval Blanc chain includes five luxury hotels and resorts in Paris, Courchevel, Saint Tropez, Saint Barths and the Maldives. What does it have in common with the Hublot watch brand? Belonging to one corporation: the hotel chain is managed by LVMH Hotel Management, and Hublot is part of the jewelry and watch division of the same LVMH. It’s no surprise that this is the third time Hublot has given a homage to one of its sister resorts, the Maldivian Cheval Blanc Randheli, a 40-minute seaplane flight north of Male’ amid the crystal clear waters and lush vegetation of Noonu Atoll.
On the occasion of the ninth anniversary (and reopening last summer after a renovation), Cheval Blanc Randheli released two limited edition watches – the men’s Big Bang Unico chronograph in a titanium case with a diameter of 42 mm and the women’s Big Bang One Click three-hand watch in a steel case with a diameter of 39 mm, each of which consists of 25 copies. The chocolate-colored dials and main straps symbolize the warm colors of the wooden platforms and decor elements of the resort, while the yellow ceramic bezels symbolize the sun shining over the equatorial islands. The Big Bang Unico has a matte dial and the Big Bang One Click features a sunburst finish and 11 diamond hour markers. The watch comes with an additional white rubber strap, especially for resort guests, who will be able to purchase it on an exclusive basis.
