How else are university graduates adapted to the requirements of employers

Training during the first year of work is not the only way to adapt recent university and college graduates to the requirements of employers. Some companies, primarily in the industrial sector, are starting to do this even in schools and universities. For example, the Pipe Metallurgical Company conducts career guidance work with universities and colleges, creating opportunities for students to immerse themselves in the corporate culture and business processes of the company at the stage of education (including participating in the federal project “Professionality”; see “Kommersant” dated May 30).
A number of companies are building partnerships with universities by opening specialized departments. For example, as Olga Mitrofanova, director of the MTS Corporate University department, told Kommersant, together with the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the department of deep machine learning was opened, thanks to which the company can “attract candidates with 100% of the necessary competencies.” Yulia Fomina, head of Alfa-Bank’s employer brand development department, told Kommersant that the company is integrating into the educational process already in the 3rd or 4th year of university, launching training programs in product management and machine learning.
