Honored employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service will receive increased salaries

The honorary title was recently established by the President of Russia

The Federal Penitentiary Service decided to establish the amount of the monthly salary supplement for honored workers of the penal system of the Russian Federation. Draft corresponding order FSIN of Russia issued in connection with the establishment of this honorary title.

The decree establishing the title “Honored Worker of the Penitentiary System” was signed by the President of Russia on Monday, March 11. The management of the FSIN came to the conclusion that for this kind of encouragement, an employee of the penal system will have to receive a salary increase of 50%. The same bonus is planned to be paid to all national and honored figures working in the system. For example, if a colony worker has the title of People’s Artist of the USSR or Russia, then he will also receive one and a half salary.

The same 50% increase in salary will be received by employees awarded the badge “Honorary Worker of the Penitentiary System”, as well as employees of the penal system, awarded the “Gold Star” medal of the Hero of the Russian Federation, “Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation”, orders of the USSR and the Russian Federation , insignia of the Order of St. George – the St. George Cross, medals of the USSR, medals of the Russian Federation (with the exception of anniversary medals), insignia of the Russian Federation “For Impeccable Service”.

The amounts of payments for other departmental awards were established by order of the Federal Penitentiary Service, signed in December last year. It states, in particular, that if a penal system employee has two or more awards, he will receive additional payment only for one, the one for which a large bonus is due.
