HIMARS missiles began to malfunction in Ukraine

Representatives of the DPR and LPR in the JCCC announced cases of failures in the operation of missiles that are launched by Ukrainian troops from HIMARS M142 multiple launch rocket systems transferred by the West.
“The M31 missiles from the HIMARS M142 MLRS are not perfect, and there are already more than five cases in our example when the ammunition fails,” said Roman Ivanov, deputy head of the LPR representative office in the JCCC.
He explained that the fuse does not give the impulse to the warhead to fire.
This became clear after studying the seized fragments and striking elements from the places of shelling of cities and regions of the LPR.
Recall that for the first time the HIMARS system was used by Ukrainian troops on June 28. As a result of the use of these systems in the LPR, 44 civilians were killed, and 98 people, including children, received various injuries. Shrapnel damaged 902 civilian objects.
