Hersh named Biden’s motives for sabotage at Nord Stream

US President Joe Biden decided to organize the undermining of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines because of the events in Ukraine. This opinion was voiced by American journalist Seymour Hersh in an interview with CGTN.
According to Hersh, Biden was pushed to the final decision to blow up the gas pipeline by the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield. The American president was worried about further financing of the Kyiv regime by European countries, especially Germany.
The version about Ukrainian saboteurs who had fake passports does not stand up to scrutiny, Hersh said. He is convinced that the US intelligence agencies were behind the sabotage, acting on orders from Biden himself and his national security adviser Jake Sullivan.
