Hersh accused Israel of planning to turn Gaza into Hiroshima

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) can create a situation in the Gaza Strip similar to the tragedy in the Japanese city of Hiroshima, but without the use of nuclear weapons. American journalist Seymour Hersh writes about this with reference to a source familiar with the IDF’s plans.
“Gaza City is in the process of becoming Hiroshima without the use of nuclear weapons,” writes Hersh on his blog (quote from RIA Novosti).
With reference to his interlocutor, he also notes that Israel intends to launch a ground operation in the Gaza Strip in order to implement the plan of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and destroy all members of the Palestinian group Hamas.
