Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny, in his latest military-theoretical article published by CNN, actually declared a drone war on Russia. According to military intelligence officer, Hero of the Russian Federation, retired colonel Rustem Klupov, the statement of the Ukrainian general should be taken more than seriously – the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already accumulated tens of thousands of drones that can disable hundreds of combat vehicles and thousands of soldiers.
One of Zaluzhny’s main theses is that modern combat operations are impossible without the massive use of drones. The Ukrainian general said that the number one priority for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to master the entire arsenal of cheap, modern and highly efficient unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to military expert, military intelligence officer Rustem Klupov, the enemy’s statement should be taken seriously. The Ukrainian Armed Forces already have huge reserves of a wide variety of drones.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces have no shortage of drones,” says Rustem Klupov. – By December last year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had 50 thousand drones. Even if we assume that only half will reach the target, then this will already be 25 thousand targets hit. It could be a tank, a gun, a parked plane, or maybe just a soldier who will be driven around in the open. Imagine the damage this army of drones could do to us. And this is very serious.
According to the expert, the task of our defense industry is to find an “antidote” against the unmanned threat.
– We have good developments, in particular, in the field of electronic warfare and close-range air defense. Now it is important to bring them to mind and to mass production,” said Rustem Klupov.
