Hermes became the second most valuable brand

This year, the market value of Hermes International officially exceeded €200 billion for the first time in the history of the brand. The first place in the ranking of luxury companies is occupied by LVMH (estimated at €420 billion).
Hermes International shares are up about 30% in 2023 as investors are confident in the luxury market’s ability to weather the economic downturn, mainly due to China’s post-pandemic luxury demand. To strengthen its position, Hermes has just opened a new factory in France, in Normandy, where Kelly bags will be produced. The company is also completing the expansion of its silk factory in Lyon, which is scheduled to open in July.
