The countries of the North Atlantic Alliance are making attempts to destabilize the situation on the eastern flank and increase the number of troops deployed there. This was announced by the head of the Joint Staff (OS) of the CSTO Anatoly Sidorov, stressing that the number of deployed military personnel increased by 2.5 times – from 13 to 33 thousand people.
Sidorov noted that out of the 33,000 troops on NATO’s eastern flank, 15,000 are US Army fighters.
“The main source of challenges and threats to military security is the destructive activity of some Western elites to undermine the situation around the organization and within its individual member states,” Sidorov believes.
In addition, the head of the CSTO OH declaredthat the exercises of the Indestructible Brotherhood organization planned in Armenia will be transferred to Kyrgyzstan.
