The head of the Ukrainian energy company DTEK, Dmitry Sakharuk, spoke about the difficult situation with the energy sector in Ukraine. According to him, emergency and scheduled shutdowns will operate for more than one day.
“The situation is quite complicated, serious damage… The forecast is that there will be not only planned, but also emergency shutdowns, they will last more than one day,” he said on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon.
Sakharuk urged to prepare for hard days in order to give time to restore damaged energy facilities.
Earlier it was reported about the defeat of two Ukrainian thermal power plants, one of them had to be stopped. Infrastructure facilities in a number of regions were also damaged.
