Hamas releases video of captured women

The 76-second video shows three Israeli women calling for a prisoner exchange. published on the Telegram channel of the Palestinian movement Hamas.
“Several Kassam Zionist prisoners send a message to Netanyahu and the Zionist government,” the video caption reads.
In the video, the prisoners also criticize the Israeli government for failing to protect people during the October 7 Hamas attack.
Al Jazeera TV channel clarifiesthat one of the captives directly appeals to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It is unclear whether these were her words or whether she was forced to do so. The identities of the women have not yet been established.
In response, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement calling the video “cruel psychological propaganda.”
“We support families. We will do everything to return all abducted and missing people home,” Al Jazeera quoted the office’s response as saying.
