Haley: US doesn’t need to send military to Ukraine

US Republican presidential candidate and former permanent representative to the UN Nikki Haley said that Washington does not need to send its military to the conflict zone in Ukraine. On the Fox News channel, she emphasized that Kyiv does not want this either.
Haley added that the US authorities should continue to provide military and financial assistance to Ukraine. In her opinion, the Americans need to explain that supporting Kyiv helps prevent a larger military conflict.
“I blame Joe Biden for this. He should have explained to our citizens why we do what we do, talk about the reason why we care about Ukraine,” Haley said.
It should be noted that the US Congress has not yet made a decision on the White House’s request to provide new assistance to Kyiv. The administration has said it cannot send additional weapons to Ukraine without lawmakers’ approval.
