Guterres: About 85 percent of Gazans have fled their homes

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that 85% of the population of the Gaza Strip were forced to leave their homes, but there are now no safe places there.
At a meeting of the UN Security Council, he noted that “the residents of Gaza are being ordered to move… But nowhere is safe there.”
According to him, more than 17,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israel’s military operation. Among them are more than 4,000 women and 7,000 children. Tens of thousands were injured, many, according to Guterres, missing. “Presumably under the rubble,” added the head of the world organization.
