Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov said that the Consulate General in Brest received a false report about the mining of a polling station for the election of the Russian President. According to him, this did not affect the voting.

“There are phone threats, reports of bombs. Such a message, in particular, came to the building of the Brest Consulate General… Another check was carried out, and voting continues,” he said at a briefing in Minsk (quoted by TASS).

In Belarus, Russians vote in presidential elections within one day. Six polling stations have been organized in the country – in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev.
