Grossi: IAEA discovered anti-personnel mines on the periphery of the ZNPP perimeter

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, told reporters that IAEA experts found several anti-personnel mines while inspecting the perimeter of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
He specified that they were located in the buffer zone between the inner and outer perimeters of the nuclear power plant.
“The mines were located in a closed area where the station personnel do not have access. No mines were found on the inner perimeter of the station,” Grossi said, adding that their presence is contrary to the principles of nuclear and physical safety.
