IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi believes that there is still no clarity on the situation with the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
“The situation with nuclear safety … in Ukraine, especially at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, is still dangerous and unpredictable,” Grossi said.
Recall that the station has been under the protection of the Russian military since March last year. The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of shelling Energodar and the ZNPP territory. The IAEA, in turn, advocated the creation of a security zone around the station.
