Grain is floating away // Its stable export allows the Russian Federation not to rush to extend the “grain deal”
[ad_1]
The talks between the participants in the “grain deal” that ended on Thursday, which have not yet led to an extension of the agreement and have moved into the phase of discussing technical details, showed that the Russian Federation is focused on fulfilling its requirements – the return of the Russian Agricultural Bank (RSHB) to the SWIFT system and unblocking fertilizer exports. Russian grain exports, which keep up with plans even in the event of a deal default, allow Moscow, Kiev claims and confirms the UN, to suspend inspections of Ukrainian ships, “imposing its own plan” for further negotiations.
