The Gosuslugi and mos.ru portals may work intermittently due to an “unprecedented number of people willing” to vote in the remote electronic voting system (DEG). This message appears on the Gosuslug portal, Kommersant drew attention to.
“Due to the unprecedented number of people wishing to vote online, the system is temporarily operating in electronic queue mode. Due to the huge interest in voting, there may also be temporary delays in receiving some services on mos.ru,” the message says.
More than 700 thousand people have already voted in the DEG system, according to website for observers. This is 15% of voters who applied to vote under the DEG. As of 7.00 there were 500 thousand voters. More than 40 thousand Muscovites have already voted using the DEG system.
