In total, on August 10, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired more than 70 ammunition in the Belgorod region. In addition, two UAV drones were shot down in the villages of Solomino and Karabanovo. The enemy dropped three fragmentation munitions with the help of a drone in Zhuravlevka, and another one in Novopetrovka. There were no casualties or damage as a result of the incidents, Gladkov stressed.
August 9 in the Belgorod region fixed 83 arrivals of shells of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the region was attacked twice by drones. As a result of the shelling of the village of Gorkovsky, one person was killed, four more were injured. In addition, two houses and three cars were damaged. A power line was cut off on one of the streets, and later the power supply was restored. August 10 APU again attacked village, no one was hurt.
The Belgorod region is regularly shelled by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region.
