In Belgorod, a drone fell on an office building and caught fire. About it informed Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
He noted that there was no detonation, but the drone itself caught fire. The device has already been switched off. “There are no casualties, there is minor damage to the roof and boiler room, two cars were also damaged by shrapnel. Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov and operational services are on site,” Gladkov added.
Earlier June 9 Gladkov informed on the work of air defense over Belgorod. The system worked on two air targets on approach to the city. According to preliminary data, no victims.
The Belgorod region, especially the border areas, are regularly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Three people were injured during the night shelling of the region, two of them are now in the hospital, the governor said in a report on shelling for the day. In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other subjects of the Russian Federation – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
