The village of Dronovka in the Graivoronsky urban district of the Belgorod region came under shelling from Ukraine twice, no one was injured as a result, but two houses and power lines were damaged, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
“The roof, facades and fences were cut in two private households. Gas and electricity lines were also damaged. Operational and emergency services are sent to eliminate the consequences,” – wrote Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
Earlier today, an aircraft-type drone was shot down by a Russian air defense system (AD) over Belgorod, there were no casualties, the governor wrote. In addition, over the past 24 hours, drones have been shot down in the villages of Tulyanka and Murom.
Gladkov regularly reports on the shelling of the Belgorod region from Ukraine, at the end of May the intensity of the attacks increased. On June 2, he estimated the restoration of enterprises affected by shelling at 10 billion rubles. Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko said that the region had applied to the Russian government for financial assistance to repair the damage caused by the shelling.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the “medium level of response” has been established in the region.
