As a result of shelling of Shebekino from the Ukrainian side on October 31, a woman was injured. About it reported Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“In the Shebekino urban district, the city of Shebekino was shelled twice from artillery – three arrivals were recorded. There is a victim – a woman with a broken wrist, bruises to the chest and soft tissues of the nose,” he wrote.
Gladkov emphasized that the woman received medical care at the hospital, but she refused hospitalization.
In just one day, about 100 arrivals were recorded in the region. As a result, a power line was damaged in the village of Zadorozhny (as of November 1, electricity was restored).
Because of the Shebekino shelling, windows in three private houses were broken, facades and fences were cut. The building of the motor transport enterprise and the power line were also damaged (as of November 1, electricity was restored). As a result of shelling on the outskirts of the city, the production and warehouse premises of one of the enterprises were damaged, Gladkov added. In other cases there were no casualties or destruction.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, using drones, dropped four explosive devices in one day on the villages of Solntsevka and Murom. There were no casualties or destruction as a result. One drone was shot down by air defense in the Grayvoronsky urban district above the Masychevo farm, the governor specified.
The Belgorod region, like other border regions, is regularly attacked by Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region. The region is also at an indefinite “yellow” (high) terrorism alert level.
