In the Volokonovsky district of the Belgorod region, 55 arrivals of shells from Ukraine were recorded over the past day, informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“They were hit with mortars and artillery. 29 shells were fired on the outskirts of the village of Tishanka, 18 on the outskirts of the Stary farm, and eight on the Kiselev farm. There are no casualties or damage in any of the settlements of the region,” the governor wrote.
In addition, Ukraine fired 40 artillery shells and 14 Grad shells at Valuyki, as a result of which a child and seven adults were injured. Two more villages in the Valuysky district were hit by artillery and explosive devices dropped from drones, Gladkov said.
In addition, seven artillery shells were fired at the village of Solntsevka in the Belgorod region, five at the village of Bochkovka, and two at Naumovka. As a result, no one was hurt. Arrivals of 15 artillery shells were also recorded in the Grayvoron district, five shells were fired in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, and 11 in the Shebekinsky district. No casualties were recorded in three districts either.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19 last year, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other subjects of the Russian Federation – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, Kursk, Rostov, and Voronezh regions.
The shelling of the Belgorod region has become more frequent since the beginning of June. In particular, on June 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired a record 850 shells in the Shebekinsky district.
