The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 70 shells in the Belgorod region per day. About it reported regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
The most active shelling from the Ukrainian side was the village of Prilesye in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district – 37 arrivals were recorded. In addition, a Ukrainian drone was shot down in the village of Erik.
As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks, there were no casualties in any district or urban district. However, in the village of Kozinka, Grayvoronsky urban district, one of the shells pierced the roof of a private residential building. In other cases there were no destructions.
On the morning of October 3, Gladkov reported that the city of Shebekino came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result, no one was injured. According to the governor, “the shells landed” in the industrial zone.
October 1 Armed Forces of Ukraine released fired 100 shells into the Belgorod region and attacked the region using a drone and a quadcopter. As a result, four people were injured.
A resident of the village of Bogun-Gorodok suffered a cerebral contusion and barotrauma after the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped an improvised explosive device from a quadcopter onto a private house. Three more people were injured as a result of shelling at Shebekin. A woman received shrapnel wounds to her neck, and two men received shrapnel wounds to her legs. All victims were taken to a hospital in Belgorod.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region.
